Disease Management Programs
Asthma Management: We offer a comprehensive asthma assessment process and easy-to-follow guidance for home care. If your child wheezes or you suspect he/she may have asthma, ask our staff about scheduling an evaluation.
Obesity: Overweight children are at higher risk for developing many diseases, including diabetes, cancer, and depression. Let us help your family adopt healthy habits to help your child lose weight responsibly and with long-term success.
ADHD Screening: If you are concerned that your child may have Attention Deficit or Hyperactivity Disorder, please ask your provider to screen your child for this disease. We will provide you with important guidance on parenting, school performance, and treatments with and without medication.
Case Management: We believe the best possible care is given when parents have additional support and guidance from their doctor’s office. If your insurance plan participates in our Case Management Program, we can provide you with an enhanced referral process, important health reminders & education, and other targeted services to help guide you.
Clinical Excellence: The best way to keep you child healthy is to prevent illness and promote healthy activities. At Pediatric Associates, your child’s health care team focuses on state-of-the-art, evidence-based medicine so that your child is protected.
- Well Child Exam Rates / Immunization Success Rates: Pediatric Associates consistently excels in our well visit and immunization success rates. We offer annual well visit reminders around your child’s birthday as well as focused vaccine outreach. You can be sure that your child’s preventative exam is a priority for both you and your Pediatric Associates care team.
- Evidence-Based Medicine: To ensure that your child receives the best possible care and that all of our providers are up-to-date on the latest medical standards, we have internal committees who review, audit and provide ongoing education for our providers and staff. Our entire practice is committed to providing quality, cost-effective medicine for your family.
Customer Service
- Wait Time: It is our daily goal to provide reasonable wait times in our waiting rooms and exam rooms, doing all that we can to see your child in an efficient and effective manner. Most of our offices offer “first available”—giving you the option to see another provider who may be available first.
- Phone Service: Each day our phones are monitored to ensure rapid response to your calls and that you are given reliable and appropriate answers to your questions.
